Ms Heather
Miss Heather started dancing at the age of 3 at The Can-Dance Studio. She just completed her 17th year on staff. After graduating high school, she attended East Carolina University, graduating with a B.F.A. in Dance Education. Miss Heather was the captain of the ECU Dance Team. She is the dance team coach at E.O. Smith High School in Mansfield. Miss Heather also travels with the Universal Dance Association, teaching at dance camps and judging competitions throughout the country. She is a pint-sized powerhouse; her dynamic teaching style and commitment to excellence make her classes so popular.
MS Candy
Miss Candy started dancing at the age of 2. At age 11, she studied dance in New York City with professional teachers, including Frank Hatchett, Charles Kelly, Gregory Hines, and Madame Darvash. Miss Candy also has a theater background, having majored in theater at the University of Hartford and music at the Hartt School of Music. She was a choreographer for the UConn Tap Team, a competitive dance team, and the Windham Theatre Guild. Miss Candy achieves a connection with each one of her students and has established a caring, safe environment that nurtures her students' talents, fosters their growth, and celebrates their individuality.
